Michal is the VP of Business Development, Investor Relations, and Philanthropy at the SFI Group (Social Finance Israel) where she is focused on integrating the work of investors and philanthropists to create innovative funding models for solving complex social challenges.
Prior to SFI, Michal spent several years managing marketing for tech startups and founded her own social impact consultancy, working with clients in the US and Israel.
She was on the founding team of TOM: Tikkun Olam Makers, where she led TOM’s global business development and partnerships and grew the organization from one community in Israel to 35 around the world in 2.5 years while managing international partnerships with groups like Google.org, the US State Dept, Stratasys, the Israeli Ministry of Economy, and more. Michal has also worked with many NGOs leading resource development and strategy. In 2012, she relocated to northern Japan to manage an aid project after the tsunami and earthquake with IsraAID.
Michal grew up between Israel and the U.S. and has lived in Tel Aviv for the last 15+ years. She holds an MA in Diplomacy Studies from Tel Aviv University and a BA in International Relations from the University of Maryland.
