The DatA.IL Community is a joint initiative of the Nova Project from the SFI Group, the Ministry of Economy, the Israel National Digital Agency, and the Israel Innovation Authority, in partnership with the Prime Minister's Office, the Central Bureau of Statistics, and the Ministry of Science and Innovation.
The community's goal is to realize the full potential of public data and develop data-based and AI solutions for challenges faced by Israeli society. The community brings together government entities, local authorities, the business sector, nonprofits, investors, academic institutions, and the general public to create fertile ground for leading and groundbreaking collaborations and projects.
The community holds physical and virtual events and meetings, such as hackathons, work groups, classes, networking, and more. One of its main goals is to give access to and share knowledge in the field through publishing reports and position papers and connecting to leading players in the space both in Israel and the world.
