Promoting data-based work in local authorities by building infrastructure, culture, work routine, and skills for working with data. Teams from local authorities across the country learn to use data as a main tool to strengthen capabilities and provide better service to residents and businesses. Work with local authorities is done on three levels: implementing in-depth projects (across 15 authorities so far), developing and delivering a dedicated course, and finally high-level efforts to share knowledge and insights between municipalities to improve cooperation with the government and remove barriers.
Program participants testify to the great value they received and to the changes in practices that have already been implemented. Together with our partners, we have identified potential for operating on a national scale and are currently building the tools to do so. At the same time, we continue to push for actual change on the ground and advance with implementation processes.
