The DI Career Impact Bond is a collaborative initiative between SFI and Developers Institute, aimed at training specific populations for careers in the tech industry. The initiative focuses on two target groups: new immigrants who arrived in Israel following the war in Ukraine and members of the Ethiopian community in Israel. Impact investors fund the training costs for participants and receive returns when participants are placed in relevant jobs and pay back the cost of their training.
The program aims to train 180 individuals across six classes.
The first class started in January 2023. To date, six training classes have been completed out of the 10 planned.
